Silent protest – Seret 2016 The Berlin Israeli Film and Television Festival
Activists organize a silent protest in front of the Hackesche Höfe cinema for the opening of the Seret international Israeli film festival, Berlin, German, September 17, 2016.
The activists hold photos of families in Gaza who have been killed during the Israeli offensive of 2014. The Israeli festival is sponsored amongst others by the Israeli embassy. The activist hold slogans such as « culture can’t hide massacres », and « stop whitewashing war crimes ».

Die Aktivist*innen halten Poster mit Parolen wie «Kultur kann Massaker nicht verbergen» und «hört auf, Kriegsverbrechen zu beschönigen».
