The Ali Jiddah Story is a powerful documentary that explores Jerusalem through the eyes of Ali M. Jiddah, an Afro-Palestinian who offers a unique perspective on the history and realities of the Old City. The film asks a fundamental question: Is the conflict in Jerusalem a religious war, or is it political? It invites viewers to look beyond mainstream narratives and discover a perspective rarely heard in the media.

Following the screening, we will host a discussion with Mounir Kleibo, a son of Jerusalem who has dedicated decades to international development and labour rights through his work with the United Nations. He will share his personal perspective and firsthand insights into the current situation and the realities facing Palestinians in Jerusalem today.

More than a story about a city, this is a story about its people, their memories, and their right to be heard.
