WÜRZBURG ! Buchladen Neuer Weg

It’s already June, and I am still spending time in the city of Mannheim. But everyone—on June 18th, you will come to Würzburg in Bavaria and attend my talk at the bookstore Neuer Weg !?!

There I will present parts of the international exhibition “No Silence in the Arts for Gaza”, and together we can reflect on an interesting question: Is art a form of therapy !?

This evening is happening thanks to a remarkable woman, Elisabeth Abdalla. @abdallaelisabeth // I first met Elisabeth at a Palestine information stand in the center of Würzburg when I spent some time in the city in the autumn of 2024. There, she and other dedicated volunteers stand regularly, answering all kinds of questions about Palestine.

Not infrequently, they are met with angry words from passersby in the pedestrian zone. Yet Elisabeth and her friends rarely give up. Through years of commitment, she has built an impressive network of contacts within the pro-Palestinian community across Germany, and her support has been invaluable in helping organize this event.

So, if you have the opportunity, come to Würzburg on June 18th—and bring a friend or two with you!
