Die Broschüre „Mythos Israel 1948“ im Faktencheck
Die Veranstaltung befasst sich mit der Broschüre „Mythos Israel 1948“, die von der BVV Neukölln mit großer Mehrheit als Lehrmittel für Sekundarschulen beschlossen wurde. Die Broschüre bietet ein einseitiges Narrativ und verharmlost die Folgen der Nakba von 1948. Angesichts des Krieges in Gaza ist es wichtig, dass Schulen historisch korrekte Informationen zum israelisch-palästinensischen Konflikt vermitteln. Das Gaza-Komitee lädt daher Lehrkräfte und Interessierte zu einem Info- und Diskussionsabend ein, um die Broschüre kritisch zu analysieren.

The brochure "Myth of Israel 1948" under fact check
The event deals with the brochure "Myth of Israel 1948", which was approved by the Neukölln District Assembly (BVV) as teaching material for secondary schools by a large majority. The brochure offers a one-sided narrative and downplays the consequences of the Nakba of 1948. In light of the war in Gaza, it is important that schools convey historically accurate information on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Therefore, the Gaza Committee invites teachers and those interested to an info and discussion evening to critically analyze the brochure.
