Ben, ein jüdischer Israeli, unterstützt den palästinensischen Widerstand gegen die Besatzung.

Während die große Mehrheit der Israelis die rassistische Politik ihrer Regierung und die militärische Unterdrückung der palästinensischen Bevölkerung unterstützt, hat Ben ein neues politisches zuhause gefunden: das kleine palästinensische Dorf Nabi Saleh, in dem eine Gruppe lokaler Aktivist*innen seit Jahren Widerstand leistet gegen den Diebstahl ihres Landes und Wassers durch die benachbarte Siedlung.
Jeden Freitag nimmt er an den Demonstrationen dieser kleinen Gemeinschaft teil in dem Glauben, dass der gemeinsame Widerstand die Grundlage für ein Zusammenleben sein kann und dass es eine Alternative gibt, die der Solidarität und einer anderen und besseren Zukunft für alle Menschen, die in diesem Land leben.

Der Thresen ist ab 19.30 offen, wie immer mit veganen Schnittchen und Knabbereien

Ben, an Israeli Jew, is actively supporting the Palestinian popular struggle against the occupation.
At a time when the vast majority of Israelis support their government ́s racist policies and military oppression, Ben has found himself a political home away from home – the small Palestinian village of Nabi Saleh, where a local group of activists continues to resist the stealing of their land and water by the settlement across the valley.

With this small community he continues to participate in the demonstrations Friday after Friday; believing that co-resistance can lead to coexistence and that there is an option – an option of solidarity, an option of an alternative and better future for all the people of the land.

The bar opens at 7:30 pm as always with drinks and vegan sandwiches
