In addition to the cultural program we will host a panel on state repression, cancellations and silencing of activists and artists in solidarity with palestine, with
Ghayath Almadoun (palestinian poet and writer) and Udi Raz (activist, Jüdische Stimme)

Aufruf zur Demo am 20.4.24Im Rahmen der internationalen Aktionswoche “Gegen Rüstungsfirmen, die an Völkermord beteiligt sind” planen wir am 20.04.2024 in mehreren Städten Deutschlands die Straßen zu fluten, unserer Empörung über diese Regierung freien Lauf zu lassen und unter anderem immer wieder die vollständige Einstellung der Waffenlieferungen an Israel zu fordern! Marschiert mit uns, seid laut mit uns, nur gemeinsam können wir die deutsche Bundesregierung dazu bringen, ihren wahnsinnigen Kurs zu ändern!.
Der Völkermord in Gaza wütet nun seit mehr als einem halben Jahr, tausende Menschen sind verletzt ,ermordet, liegen unter Trümmern begraben, Milionen wurden aus ihren Häusern vertrieben und doch ist kein Ende der israelischen Angriffe sind in Sicht. Weder zwei Weltkriege, entfacht durch Deutschland, noch von Deutschland begangene oder tatkräftig unterstützte Völkermorde an Herero und Nama, Armenier*innen, Jüdinnen und Juden, Sinti*zze und Rom*nja reichen der Bundesregierung aus, Lehren aus diesen Verbrechen zu ziehen. Ganz im Gegenteil! Das deutsche Establishment unterstützt den Völkermord auch auf ideologischer Ebene durch die Verbreitung der israelischen Kriegspropaganda und mit seiner Kampagne der systematischen Unterdrückung und Diffamierung jeder Stimme, die sich dem entgegenstellt.

Die bedingungslose Loyalität zu Israel zerbröckelt von Tag zu Tag - aufgrund der nicht mehr hinnehmbaren Tötungen und immensen Zerstörungen im Gazastreifen. Deutsche Diplomaten werden weltweit von ihren Kollegen isoliert. Klagen gegen Deutschland sind eingereicht worden und müssen verhandelt werden. Referent: Johann Weng (Osnabrück) Ort: Freizeitheim Vahrenwald, Vahrenwalder Str. 92, Stadtbahn Dragonerstraße, Kleiner Saal Johann Weng ist langjähriges Mitglied der Deutsch-Palästinensischen Gesellschaft und Vorsitzender der DPG-Regionalgruppe Osnabrück.
Die deutsche und europäische Geschichte kennt viele Ereignisse und Formen des Antisemitismus. Jahrhunderte lang prägte der christliche Antijudaismus ein negatives Bild vom Judentum. Im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert dominierten biologistische und rassistische Theorien, später führte der nationalsozialistische Judenhass zu millionenfacher Vernichtung.
Über viele Jahre durchgeführte wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen belegen das Vorhandensein eines breiten Spektrums von antisemitischen Vorstellungen in der deutschen Bevölkerung. Besonders im Zusammenhang mit den Gazakriegen der letzten 20 Jahre häufen sich in der Politik und den Medien Berichte über den stark „zunehmenden Antisemitismus.“
Seit dem 7. Oktober 2023 ist dies besonders intensiv verbunden mit der Diskussion um den „antiisraelischen“, „islamischen“ und den „importierten“ Judenhass.
Aber ist das Antisemitismus? Es werden mehrere Antisemitismusdefinitionen und deren Eignung erörtert. Beispiele aus der Berichterstattung zum Gazakrieg und zu den „Skandalen“ um die documenta und die Biennale aktualisieren den Vortrag.

Es begann 1948 - Die andauernde Vertreibung der Palästinenser Für manch einen Geschichtsvergessenen, hat die Geschichte des „Nahostkonflikts“ am 07.10.2023 begonnen. Aber weder handelt es sich um einen „Nahostkonflikt“, noch um dem 07.10.2023 als Startpunkt. Die schändliche Geschichte der Besatzung, Vertreibung und des Genozids an den Palästinensern durch die europäischen Zionisten startete mit der Nakba 1948 (der Katastrophe). In Deutschland wird der Mord, die Besatzung und Vertreibung sogar im Bundestag durch alle großen Parteien hinweg - von Grünen bis zur AfD - als „Staatsgründung Israels“ abgefeiert und es regnet Glückwünsche und Bewunderung für die Besatzer. Seit 1948 gab es keinen einzigen Tag an dem die Besatzung und Vertreibung für die Palästinenser nicht zur bitteren Lebensrealität dazugehörte.
